NeatCheeks Are Oh So Sweet!

So recently the makers of NeatCheeks sent me a sample packet of their yummy wipes. Yes yummy!

The concept of NeatCheeks wipes were created by an accidental discover of Danielle Stangler. Her story is quite amusing and ingenious at the same time. While out at a restaurant with her family, her 2 year old daughter's face had become quite cheesy and needed to be cleaned. Danielle knew her daughter did not like her face to be wiped but she also knew she did not want to walk out with a cheesy daughter.

Danielle asked her husband to dip a napkin in what she assumed to be water. After realizing that her daughter did not put up a fight while getting washed and also referred to it as being "nummy" she soon found out the reason why. It was not water but lemonade on the napkin. Thus NeatCheeks were born!

NeatCheeks is an innovative wipe that tastes sweet yet still gets the job done! These wipes are not only great for cleanup but are also made with all naturally flavored. In addition to this great news, they are also Pediatrician and Dermatologist tested!

Now that you know the background, here's my review...

Upon the arrival of my NeatCheeks package I was more than thrilled to try these babies out! I purposely made a messy dinner so that I could test the full effectiveness of the wipes. After my 2 year old daughter finished her plate of spaghetti naturally she had a messy face and hands. I first got out a regular baby wipe and like clockwork she was forcing me to chase her face with the wipe. After a few tedious tries, I went to my NeatCheeks.

First, she was still hesitant to allow me to wipe her face. So I told her to taste it. She and my 5 year old both looked at me with perplexing looks on their faces. My 5 year old because she knows this just isn’t a natural request and my 2 year old because I was finally giving her permission to put paper in her mouth. My 2 year old stuck out her tongue after I requested again. She proceeded to placing her tongue back in her mouth and kind of smacked it around a bit. She then commanded “more!” She not only allowed me to wipe her face but her tongue as well!

After witnessing this yummy cleanup my 5 year old proceed to rubbing a handful of sauce on her face and asked it to be her turn! I thought this to be so amusing!

Needless to say NeatCheeks is my kind of wipe for easy and tasty clean up. Can I be honest and admit I too have “accidentally” caused a mess or two on my face. I of course did it for review purposes solely of course!
If you have not tried NeatCheeks you are missing out on an innovative discovery. This is definitely a mommy and kid-friendly product I fully endorse!

And Baby Makes 3

I think back to when my 5 year old was first born. I must say it was truly a special time, saturated with some new experience daily. I can recall the very first night of her arrival; she slept through the entire night! I remember thinking, "Wow this is going to be a breeze!” Yeah, well definitely not the case. The next night...and every night thereafter, my sleep had become more like random spurts of unconsciousness. My husband (then boyfriend) and I were so sleep deprived that we envied the rest of the world, knowing they were nestled snuggly in their beds; while we took turns changing diapers and feeding our newborn. Truth be told, I even resented my husband at times as I would look over and see him sleeping so soundly! My husband and I have this unspoken game (I like to call it “sleep roulette”) in which we pretend to be in such a deep sleep, that we do not hear our daughter’s crying. That way, the other parent will get up and change a diaper, make a bottle, or give a glass o

Despicable Me 2 Review by a Not-so-expert!

This 4th of July weekend I took my daughters to see Despicable Me 2. At first I was a bit reserved to take them being that the rating was PG but I realized I was overthinking things after I seen the movie. The movie is a sequel to the 2010 animated film Despicable Me.  Despicable Me 2 focuses on Gru (Steve Carell) and his relationships or lack thereof. Gru is now a loving father and "good" guy; and although he is in a much better place there is still a void.  When I first heard that Gru falls in love, I thought the entire movie would be dedicated to him and his love-life.  This however was not the case.  The directors did a great job of mixing all aspects of Gru in this film. His role as a father, leader to his minions, his love-life, and his now "good" guy role are all intertwined to deliver a comedic, heart-warming film that my girls and I truly enjoyed. Aside from the fact that my 5 year old has to go to the potty and my 2 year old decided to have her own s
